We live in strange Times. We have never seen so much mess everywhere. YET,  we have never seen so much heroism – so many perfect things happening around us. Developing new things and new grades of creativity and courage.

We realized in 2020 that  fate for humanity goes hand in hand with what is good for the Earth. We changed the mindset of all our friends who were affected by Sustainable Development Goals and set our priorities to help and maintain the GOAL 15. We are encoding the right habits and choosing the right ideas and making the wise moves.

The power of a human to turn circumstances into beauty can be seen in our Stary gympel even more in these times. Embracing what is noticing little insecurity and still going ahead with bravery and opportunity. We have the wind behind our back. A fire will have been lit and an instinct to win will become ignited. An energy of mastery to help our precious Earth will have been excited. Our prayer for 2021 – make it amazing because in our Stary gympel we chose to make it so.

Human life depends on the earth as much as the ocean for our sustenance and livelihoods. Plant life provides 80 percent of the human diet, and we rely on agriculture as an important economic resources. Forests cover 30 percent of the Earth’s surface, provide vital habitats for millions of species, and important sources for clean air and water, as well as being crucial for combating climate change.

We all need nature in our lives. The majesty of the High Tatras inevitably takes our breath away everyday. Living  so close to the most spectacular mountains in Slovakia the need to help is justified. Urgent action must be taken to reduce the loss of natural habitats and biodiversity which are part of our common heritage and support  water security, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and peace and security.

And may we students and teachers of our stary gympel stick together, help one another to reach this Goal 15.

Everything we start is hard at first, usually messy in the middle but gorgeous at the end. Our plannet is going through the deep transformation needed to remake us wiser, braver and stronger.

We would like to inspire us all with the dedication to save our plannet for future generation.

The good things are always born not in time of ease but during the period of discomfort.
