(MOBILITY 4) - Slovakia
We are already at the finish line!
Our school has joined a project funded by the European Union - Erasmus + which has been working in our school for nice three years. But it's time to say goodbye...
As the last country in which mobility was to take place (exchange stay of students from other countries), we had a perfect programme for our partners. Unfortunately, sometimes life complicates our plans. This year, Covid-19 took matters into its own hands.
But don't despair! What we had prepared for them, we tried it today on our own! We did an analysis of the water in Cold Stream, in the High Tatras on 26TH May. We measured various attributes such as the pH of the water or the ammonia content in the area up to the hardness of the water. So how did the results turn out? They weren’t as great as we had expected. The overall water quality in Cold Stream is at level three. Usually, rivers in cities are on the same level. What does this mean? Make a conclusion yourself…
And to make matters worse, we also decided to measure our physical performance for water analysis, using the Runkeeper application. Today, our toil was measured in every direction, precisely in order to capture today's atmosphere as great as we can and move it abroad with the help of the digital world.
The results of the analysis did not turn out as well as we had expected, too. But let's be positive, the weather was just exemplary. The sun warmed our faces all day and we felt like real scientists! And so that our partners can also feel like scientists, today's results will be showed during the conference to be held next week. We are looking forward to them very much and we believe that this video call will introduce beautiful Slovak nature to you, at least a little.
